Back at home, Mamma & Dadda speak to me in English almost always. But here in India, I get to hear a lot of Hindi. I am trying to pick up as much as I can. After all, I would like to “Talk Hindi, Walk Hindi”. After taking shower, when Mamma was taking me outside the bathroom, here is how our conversation went:
Shyla: Put water in bucket for kitty.
Mamma: There you go. (promptly filling up water in the bucket).
Shyla: Paani Peeni 
Mamma: This water is not for you, but for the cat.
Shyla: This paani kitty ka hai
